This week we held our Customs Client Forum (CCF) at the Maersk HQ on Esplanaden in Copenhagen with the title, ’Voice of the Customer’.

This was an amzing event with key decision makers from 15 of our top clients.

Our CCO Karsten Kildahl opened the event by explaining the Maersk Integrator stratgy, stating ’Customs is the glue holding the supply chain of our customers together’.

The CCF was moderated by our own Samantha Almon Adeluwoye Global Head of Content, Social Media & Storytelling, in her brilliant way.

We also had Dr. Ralph Ossa, Chief Economist of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Mr. Coleman Nee Business Lead WTO Economic Affairs & Mr. Philippe Isler, Executive Director Global at the meeting delivering presentations, particioating in a panel debate & engaging with passion in the dialogue.

The Round-Table was opened by the host of the meeting Dimitrios Armenakis, Vice-President Global Lead Logistics & Supply Chain Management, underlining how important the customer dialogue is for Maersk ’for the co-design of our end-to-end solutions’.

During Round-Table we had excellent discussons about a number of highly relevant & timely topics, like e.g; the tsunami of new ESG regulations that are on the way in multiple geographies, trade digitalization, utilization of trade instruments, the global trade outlook, public-private sector partnerships. Outstanding talks & great networking. Jeffrey Ivinski Global Head of Maersk Customs Services, summerized it well at end when saying how important it is for us to hear the words directly from our clients & to talk about how we can go forward. Our customers holds all the keys to unlock a more predictable & resilient international trade for all. Thank you for engaging in the discussions & for talking with us!

What a day we had!

We will continue this interactive way of co-design through the Customs Client Forum (CCF) concept with regular client dialogue meetings. The CCF is a technical version of our Strategic Customer Council (SCC). We will also take this arean on tour to our regions.
