The World Customs Organization (WCO) Council starts today. The annual assembly of an institution that organizes 186 countries coveraging 99% of world trade.
This important organization & meeting governs the rules, regulations & application for everyday movement of goods across global borders.
We from A.P. Moller – Maersk are proud to be a member of the WCO Private Sector Consultative Group (PSCG), being observers contributing to the essential dialogue between Governments & Private Sector for the greater good of all.
I served in this organization as Director for 5,5 years in the past. I loved every minute if it, working with trues professionals, making borders safe and efficient global trade possible.
Thank you World Customs Organization for being the guardian of of our borders & of efficient world trade.
