Those who know me and/or read this blog know that I love football and that the club in my heart is my hometown team Malmö FF. i saw my first game at the stadium at the age of four and from the first second I was a Malmö FF fan for life.

We have had many good players, the most famous is naturally Zlatan Ibrahimovic. We have won the Swedish league more times (22) than any other club and we have played many times in europe, including a Champions League final (1979). We are the biggest club of Scandinavia.

My two favourite players of all times are Bosse Larsson (60-70s) and Markus Rosenberg, who cane back from an international career and was our amazing captain that lead Malmö FF back to Champions League.

Now the next one is here. The prodigal son is back. Today it was announced that central defender Pontus Jansson return to Malmö FF this summer.

Pontus started his career in Malmö FF and he will come back after a long successful career, including Torono in serie A, Leeds United and the lastbyears being the captain for Brentford in Premiere League. He has also been captain of the Swedish National Team.

Jansson is Malmö FF, he has the club in his blood, in his DNA. Even during hisvyears abroad he has between Premiere League games, travelled to Malmö FF home games to be in on the stands with us, the fans.

Braveheart is back – he will take us to Champions League again. This is a good day.

The LPI is out. The latest edition of World Bank’s LPI is available.

Logistics performance is critical for trade and economic integration, a driver for economic growth and poverty reduction.

The LPI is an interactive benchmarking tool created to help countries identify the challenges and opportunities they face in their performance on trade logistics and what they can do to improve their performance.

The LPI 2023 allows for comparisons across 139 countries. The 2023 LPI for the first time measures the speed of trade with indicators derived from big datasets tracking shipments.

I have many former colleagues working at the Bank with this report and it is an important instrument for reform and lämodernization.

As far as methodology is concerned, we support the use of new KPI measuring the actual speed of trade derived from Big Data or AI to complement the survey.
