CCF Mexico City!

We have had another successful A.P. Moller – Maersk Customs Client Forum (CCF) – this time in Mexico City. CCF is our platform for meeting & listening to the voice of the customer under chatham house rules.

We bring together leaders & experts from international institutions, governments, academia & private sector for an open round-table dialogue on critical topics.

This was one of the best events we had worldwide so far. It was also a very timely event since customs & tariffs are on the news everywhere.

As an integrator of trade, customer orientation is critical to us & we co-design our future solutions together with our clients. Today customs is more important than ever, but it will be even more important tomorrow.

5After hosting impactful Customs Client Forums (CCF) in Colombia, Japan, Korea, and Denmark, it was time for Mexico City to take the spotlight. And wha an incredible gathering it turned out to be!

Over the course of the event, we tackled the pressing challenges and explored the promising opportunities in international trade. From navigating uncertain times to defining what it takes to stay competitive and relevant in today’s dynamic landscape, the discussions were nothing short of inspiring.

A huge thank you to our hosts, Getulio Centanaro and Karina Venizelos, for ensuring the event ran seamlessly, and to Pablo G. Ortega Faraudo, whose exceptional leadership guided the conversations and elevated the experience for everyone involved.

Our esteemed guest speakers Ana Hinojosa, Manuel Díaz, JOSÉ IGNACIO MARTÍNEZ CORTÉS and Octavio de la Torre de Stéffano brought a diverse array of perspectives, sparking meaningful dialogues and leaving a lasting impact on the audience. Having as well the participation from Lars Karlsson and Ricardo Treviño Chapa also highlighted the importance of trade compliance. Karina’s insightful contributions during the panel discussion were particularly noteworthy reinforcing the importance of maintaining a strong focus on international trade compliance.

Behind these snapshots of success lie countless hours of teamwork, collaboration, determination, and yes, even some sleepless nights—but the outcome was absolutely worth it.

As a LinkedIn tradition, I’d like to end by extending my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event possible. Together, we’re driving the conversation forward and fostering a stronger global trade community.

Here’s to continued collaboration and innovation in international trade.
