Speaking (again) on APEC Peru 2024

Yesterday on August 18 2024 I participated as speaker at the APEC Peru 2024 Lima workshop “Best Practices to Promote Transparency in the Logistic Supply Chain: Information
Platforms of Logistic Services for Foreign Trade”.

This was an excellent & very timely workshop addressing an important part of what we today call Global Trade 2.0, namely ’Digitalization of the Supply Chain & International Trade’.

I spoke about Trusted Supply Chains, Digital Trade Corridors & Smart Borders. These elements are today not a future dream for international trade, but already a reality. We are developing digital systems & solutions for trade compliance, supply chain de-risking & ESG regulation compliance. The future is here.

We all do need to do more, do it together. The time is now.
