EU-China Maritime Transport Dialogue

WSC and member lines (CMA CGM, COSCO SHIPPING Europe, Hapag-Lloyd AG , A.P. Moller – Maersk and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company joined the EU – China Maritime Transport Dialogue in Cyprus on 21 / 22 May).

Useful discussions and perspectives were exchanged on numerous topics including shared IMO climate goals, the Fit for 55 Package of EU climate regulations, the entry into force of the Hong Kong Convention on ship recycling, maritime safety and important trade facilitations.

Further follow up by both sides is planned to take forward agreed actions. Many thanks to both the EU and Chinese delegations and to our Cypriot hosts.
