Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever’ (Ghandi).
This weekend we are celebrating the Swedish version of the High School exame tradition this year for a ypung man called Joel, who is the son of my brother-in-law.
I have always been a firm believer in eduation, my view is that ’life is about learning – learning is life’.
Being a honorary Doctor of Education (HC), with a Master in International Customs Law myself, I have advocated the importance of lifelong learning all my life. To anybody that wants to listen (and to be fair also to some people that didn’t want to listen…). It is the best advise to give & take, always try to learn more.
As Peter Drucker once said: ’We now accept the fact that learning is a lifelong process of keeping abreast of change. And the most pressing task is to teach people how to learn’.
Capacity building is the key to development, growth, innovation, solutions. There is one thing that is always true, we need Capacity Now.
