Sweden propelled themselves into the World Cup knockout stage with a handsome victory over Mexico that qualified them as Group F winners and condemned Germany to early elimination.

We played in the same way as when beating Netherlands and Italy out in the qualificstions, difficult to break down, dangerous on the counter and combative at every opportunity.

Defending champions Germany have been knocked out of the World Cup after a 2-0 defeat to South Korea in Kazan. Sweden and Mexico have qualified from Group F.

Sweden celebrated topping Group F while Mexico qualified as second.

Sweden now faces Switzerland in the next round.
