40 years ago today

It is 40 years ago today. Bruce Springsteen released the best album ever made, ‘Darkness on the Edge of Town’.

Songs that changed my life.

I still get tears in my eyes when I listen to that album.

Badlands, Adam raised a Cain, Something on the Night, Candy’s room, Racing in the Streets, The Promised Land, Factory, Streets of Fire, Prove it All Night, Darkness on the Edge of Town.

Not a bad song. Not a bad lyric line. Knowing that The Boss threw out legendary songs like ‘Because the Night’ and ‘The Promise’ from the album, makes it the perfect record. The best album ever made.
